  • All competition is to be conducted according to the General Competition Rules (GCR’s) which are contained in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MOMS).

  

  • All competitors are to have a valid rider’s license issued by Motorcycling NSW (MNSW).  Yellow Junior logbooks and licenses must be presented and left at sign in.  If rider’s logbook or license have been forgotten an approved signed license declaration must be provided in order to ride.

  

  • All riders are to be financial members of KMWTC and affiliation cards are to be presented at sign-in.  Only exception is via Committee invitation and Interclub events.

  

  • No rider is to seek to ride while on the Suspended Riders List issued by MNSW.

  

  • Riders are to present at sign-in and scrutineering within the advertised time limits.  All riders, parents / guardians must attend Riders briefing.

  

  • All riders are to have appropriate riding equipment including an Australian Standard AS1698 approved helmet, motorcycle boots, gloves, googles, body armour and appropriate protective clothing.  Failure to have this equipment will mean exclusion to ride.

  

  • All motorcycles are to comply with GCR’s and must pass scrutineering prior to each event or practice day. Motorcycles that do not pass scrutineering will be excluded from being ridden on Club grounds.

  

  • Motorcycles are not to be refueled, started or ridden outside of fenced Club event areas including car park areas or elsewhere within St. Ives Showground precincts.

  

  • All Junior riders must have a parent or duly authorized guardian present at Club grounds to be able to ride.

  

  • Parents / Guardians are required to marshal on ALL RIDE DAYS or your child/children will not be permitted to ride. All Senior riders are to provide a marshal in order to be able to ride.

  

  • All Riders, Parents and Guardians are to comply with the Club’s Code of Conduct.

  

  • Riders are not to interfere with a competitor’s motorcycle at any time or under any circumstances.

  

  • All Riders, Parents and Guardians are required to assist with set up and packing up of Club facilities on riding days.

  

  • No alcohol is to be consumed in Club house areas or surrounding St. Ives Showground precincts on a ride day until all riding has stopped.  No alcohol is to be consumed in the Event or Pits areas at any time.

  

  • No smoking in the Pits or Canteen areas.

  

  • Fuel is only to be stored in the Pits not anywhere else around the Club or Grounds.

  

  • Motorcycles are not to be ridden into the Pits area.  Motorcycles are to be pushed or can be wheeled under power into the Pits area.  Motorcycles can be ridden out of the pits area.

  

  • Enclosed footwear is to be worn in Pits or Event areas. No thongs or open shoes permitted.

  

  • No riding at lunch time.

  

  • Riders must obey track or ground signs and all riding on access tracks are to be at walking pace.  No trick riding or wheel stands permitted on access tracks.

  

  • Bicycles or unicycles are not allowed to be ridden in or around Club facilities as this activity is not covered under MNSW insurance policies.

  

  • Club members must not ride at Club grounds at times other than official Club ride days as set down in the Club Calendar.


FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND COULD RESULT IN EITHER SUSPENSION OR EXPULSION FROM THE CLUB.
